Since the day i entered college i hardly did anything at home except sit in front of the comp, watch TV,study or read...i had missed to notice the little jungle around me...
The moment i opened my eyes, everyday just after the sunrise, there will be voices at my balcony...i wake up at the noise ... sometimes curse having to hear it every morning...but deep down i know i cherish it, more than most precious things that people lock away in their safes...
There will be chirping of city sparrows , a pair of green fat ,twin tailed sparrows who coo at my mom, a squeaky pair of lil squirrels bustling at my balcony and running around with their bushy tails and then the big black guys come cawing and the others stay out of sight for sometime...
My mom will be sitting in the sofa onlooking the balcony ,sipping at the tea and enjoying the sight, she will smile and may be even laugh... she will go inside the kitchen saying "wait!wait! i am coming"...she brings biscuits, bread crumbs,grains...smashes them in pieces and scatter its on the plates she puts on the handrest of the balcony and refills those beautiful brass cups she got fixed to the grills with the iron wires...why?
the last time these lil guys were playing with these water cups(plastic ones then), they had the habit of toppling them down at the by standers on the ground floor... mostly our neighbours .. so mom got beautiful brass cups and got them fixed in place...
i know she genuinely cared for each of them, everytime we went out to get supplies for the house, she would buy grains, and cereals and stuff... Fankly as much as i love these lil ones playing and eating on our balcony and i cherished their presence... i am jealous...
i wish mom cares for me like that... well we had gotten the better of each other since the day i entered school i proved to be impossible...mom knew i was not her lil baby any more.. as much of a mischievous kid i was, me and my mom always gave each other that space and respected it..!!
ying yang we did hit a balance there!!
then the terrace... we have a lil garden there a lot of flowering plants ,well along came the bees.. i dont get it.. there was one lil comb with three lil hexagonal cells one day.. then they start the conglomerate.. got i got three seperate combs on my lil sit out in the terrace!! i saw it as a menace.. i reported it to my dad..(not my mom, i kno she would ve thot of ways of feeding them too! god),.. any wayz, dad tells me they are harmless unless i do something stupid,.. i knew the better of it!!
i complain having to clean the balcony everyday and the bees being a menace.. but i started to love them,.. more than me they make my house a home!
the big picture here is" in this huge concrete jungle, where water is bottled and priced; life is monotonous; there is a price for everything and nothing comes cheap... there are so many of these lil creatures of whom, as we get out of kindergarten, and middle school, we soon forget about.. i can never tell how beautiful life is with them around..."
and i guess the ecosystem has silently merged itself with teh noisy, plluted, iron-hearted concrete jungle!!
and yet again nature strengthens my belief...
"no matter what happens nature is a ying yang ... it will strike a balance sooner or later... all it takes is a bit of time and patience!!"

rejuvenation .... is possible
me.. i am one of those wandering souls ..
and i still haven't decided or settled upon lots of WHY's n HOW's in life.. but i neither stop questioning why and how.. and every lil answer i find... i cherish it !!
its chaios theory ... every lil decision you make has innumerable consequences... and one such decision was i could write a blog?! and i landed on the blogspot..deep down still figuring.. "do you want the world to kno what you are thinking?? you have to go blatant, plain, even rude .. " and then i decide " jus be straight forward .. jus say what yo want.." and the moment i had the you kno.. nelly furtado 'say what yo want attitude'... i knew i had to post all the statutory warnings... thats the tag on this blog!! "until you empty your cup..." its the old Zen Buddhism tale... if you could be a lil open hearted, open minded and pay heed to what the other person has to say.. give your friend a chance to voice his view .. the world wud be a better place to live...
and the tale... "there was a monk and a disciple... like all the naive and untrained minds .. the disciple was rugged and unfocused .. to get the guy to think on his feet and make him focus , sitting on the expensive rug that belonged to the disciple .. the monk started to pour tea in a lil cup for his disciple and he kept pouring,.. the cup went half full, then near full and was full till the brim... but the monk didnt stop.. he kept pouring.. the cup overflowed and started to spill on his precious rug.. the disciple screamed " cant you see the cup is full!! no matter how much you pour no more will get into it!!".. then the monk stopped, smiled and said "that is what you are doing.. your mind is like the cup... if you are full of yourself ,your views your ideas, then you will fail to see the new, fresh, fascinating ideas around you... empty your cup and you ll feel rejuvenated!!"..(n ya in the famous chinese accent)...
and i got to think ... so finally rejuvenation is possible?!!
thats good news!! to stay young and grow wise!!
